A night in: vinyl, Blu-ray, LEGO and tabletop games

Before you choose

This slower-evening collection mixes listening, watching, building and playing. Choose by the equipment and company you already have. Vinyl and Blu-ray need compatible playback hardware, while a building set or tabletop game may suit a break from screens. The point is to plan one enjoyable activity, not collect all four formats.

• Bob Dylan vinyl: confirm the exact release and format, record condition where relevant, and that you have suitable playback equipment. Do not confuse a vinyl listing with a CD or download.
• The Flash Blu-ray: check disc region, included discs and player compatibility on the store page. A film title can appear in several formats with different extras.
• LEGO police truck: check the age guidance, parts information and finished dimensions. Consider whether the recipient wants building time, play or display.
• Swooble card-and-dice game: check player count, age guidance, rules and expected session length. Pick a game that works for the people who will actually be at the table.

These are curated shopping ideas, not hands-on product tests. Product names identify the reviewed listing; confirm the current variant, seller, price, delivery costs and return terms at the store. No savings or ongoing stock are guaranteed.
